Christmas Spirit

Amidst a pandemic where might we find the spirit of Christmas?

When we look deep into nature we can find a true sense of self... From the self we can then, in true spirit, reach out to others...

“You are the books you read, the films you watch, the music you listen to, the people you meet, the DREAMS you have, the CONVERSATIONS you engage in. You are what you take from these. You are the sound of the ocean, the breath of fresh air, the brightest light and the darkest corner.
You are a COLLECTIVE of every EXPERIENCE you have had in your life.
You are every single second of every single day…”

– Jac Vanek

I heard a winter tree in song
Its leaves were birds,
a hundred strong;
When all at once it ceased to sing,
For every leaf had taken wing.

Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love.

Christmas is about all the other senses. I can smell Christmas. I can taste Christmas, and I can see and hear it.

The wind lifted me up into the trees, where I danced to the rhythm of the evergreen. Swaying to the tune of the northern breeze, frozen in timeless melody
